Plusvisa is a private visa application service, not a government agency or embassy. Official government source: Official e-Visa website for Indonesia (evisa.imigrasi.go.id), evisa.imigrasi.go.id.
Passport validity
6 months from arrival
Checked when you apply and again on arrival.
e-VOA stay
30 days, single entry
Azerbaijan is on Indonesia's e-VOA eligible list, not the visa-free list.
Payment card
Visa, Mastercard or JCB
Card must support international payments; an Azerbaijani-issued card works if 3D Secure is enabled.
Two routes into Indonesia
Most travellers
Azerbaijani citizens can apply online for a single-entry, 30-day e-VOA before flying to Indonesia. There is no visa-free entry for this passport, so the e-VOA is the standard route for tourism or business visits.
Longer or other stays
If your trip needs more than the e-VOA allows, such as work, study or a longer stay, you apply at the Indonesian Embassy in Baku before travelling, rather than online.

The e-VOA lets Azerbaijani citizens stay in Indonesia for 30 days from the arrival date, on a single entry. According to Indonesian immigration offices, it can then be extended once for a further 30 days, giving a maximum stay of 60 days.
E-Visa On Arrival: 90 days per visit.
Arrive 1 March
63 of 90 days
1 Mar – 2 May: 63 of the 90 days this visa allows in one visit.
30 days from arrival: The 30 days start on the day you land, not the day the e-VOA was approved. It covers one continuous stay, not multiple trips.
One extension possible: An immigration office can extend the e-VOA once, for another 30 days. Apply from 14 days before it expires and no later than the day before it expires.
Not multiple entry: Leaving Indonesia ends the stay. A new trip needs a new e-VOA, even if the first one still had days left.
Overstaying is fined: Staying past your permitted days brings a daily fine. An overstay of more than 60 days can lead to detention, deportation or a future travel ban.
Four things to have ready before you start your application, as an Azerbaijani applicant.
Colour scan of the full biodata page, JPG, JPEG or PNG, under 200 KB. Must show at least 6 months' validity from your arrival date.
Recent passport-size photo, JPG, JPEG or PNG, under 200 KB.
Must have 3D Secure and be enabled for international payments. Many Azerbaijani-issued cards block foreign online charges by default, so check with your bank before applying.
A printed or digital copy of a ticket leaving Indonesia. An immigration officer can ask to see it on arrival.
Processing takes 2–4 weeks. Enter your arrival date and we'll work backwards.

Is your total stay in Indonesia 30 days or less, on a single entry?
Will you arrive at one of the airports, seaports or land crossings that accept the e-VOA?
Do you hold an ordinary Azerbaijani passport, not a stateless person's document or a laissez-passer?
Can you pay online with a Visa, Mastercard or JCB card enabled for international transactions?

No. Azerbaijan is not on Indonesia's visa-free list. Most Azerbaijani travellers need an e-VOA applied for online, or an embassy visa for other trip types.
Only if it is a Visa, Mastercard or JCB card with 3D Secure and enabled for international payments. Check with your bank before applying, since some cards block foreign online charges by default.
Regional immigration offices say a e-VOA can be extended once, for another 30 days, applied for at any immigration office before it expires. Confirm current rules with the immigration office nearest to where you are staying.
Yes, the Indonesian Embassy in Baku handles visa applications that fall outside the e-VOA, such as work, study or longer stays.
Yes. Every traveller, including e-VOA holders, must submit the arrival card online within 3 days before landing and show the QR code at the border.
Your e-VOA application will be refused, or you may be denied boarding or entry. Renew your passport before applying.
Only at the specific land crossings Indonesia lists for the e-VOA. Arriving anywhere else means the e-VOA does not apply, even if you already hold one.

Getting around
Indonesia is an archipelago, so domestic flights and ferries link the islands, while ride-hailing apps like Gojek and Grab are the easiest way to get around cities. Traffic in Jakarta and Bali can be heavy, so allow extra time.
Health
Tap water is not safe to drink; use bottled or boiled water. Dengue occurs, so use repellent. Malaria risk exists in rural eastern Indonesia, Kalimantan, Sulawesi and Sumatra, but not Jakarta or Bali's resorts; check with a doctor first.
Customs and etiquette
Dress modestly at temples and mosques, and remove shoes before entering homes and places of worship. Indonesia is majority Muslim, so be considerate around prayer times and during Ramadan, especially outside Bali.
Indonesia uses the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR).
₼1 ≈ Rp9,564.2 · indicative mid-market rate, possibly a few days old
Carry cash outside big cities
Cards are mainly accepted in bigger cities and tourist spots like Jakarta and Bali. Many smaller businesses, warungs and markets are cash only, so keep rupiah on hand.
Use ATMs for local currency
ATMs are common in cities and tourist areas. Always choose to be charged in rupiah, not your home currency, to avoid a poor dynamic-conversion rate. Withdrawal limits are often around 2.5-3 million rupiah per transaction.
Exchange only at licensed counters
Change cash at banks or licensed money changers, not informal street counters, to avoid short-changing and counterfeit notes.
