- <p>Nationals who <strong>do business in Taiwan on a recommendation from the local offices of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA)</strong>, may apply for a Taiwan e-Visa.</p><p><strong>Eligible nationals must obtain an Ecode from the host organization in Taiwan (n.b., not the Bureau of Consular Affairs) prior to submitting an online application for an eVisa</strong></p><p>The validity of the e-Visa will be <strong>3 months</strong> from the date of issue. The e-Visa is a single-entry visa, and the maximum duration of stay in Taiwan is <strong>30 days</strong>, which cannot be extended and converted to other types of visas.</p><p><i>*Your e-Visa will be sent to your email address once the authorities approve it.</i></p>
