Visa details for Taiwan

<p>You are eligible for Taiwan e-Visa if you travel with a <strong>tourist group under the 'Project for Simplifying Visa Regulations for High-End Group Tourists from Southeast Asian Countries.</strong></p><p><strong>Eligible nationals must obtain an Ecode from the host organization in Taiwan (n.b., not the Bureau of Consular Affairs) prior to submitting an online application for an eVisa</strong></p><p>Please note that e-Visa is only granted for Tourism and Business, also for Visiting Relatives and Attending International Conferences or Sporting Events in Taiwan. If you intend to travel to Taiwan for other purposes – such as Employment, Study, Family Residence, or Mandarin Language Courses – you must submit an application for an appropriate type of visa to the ROC overseas mission.</p><p>The validity of the e-Visa will be <strong>3 months</strong> from the date of issue. The e-Visa is a single-entry visa, and the maximum duration of stay in Taiwan is <strong>30 days</strong>, which cannot be extended and converted to other types of visas.</p><p><i>*Your e-Visa will be sent to your email address once the authorities approve it.</i></p>
