Kyrgyzstan is one of the nationalities the Saudi Ministry of Tourism lists as e-Visa eligible. Applicants apply online, upload a photo and passport details, and pay the government fee by card before flying.
Used US/UK/Schengen visa
If a Kyrgyz passport already carries a valid, used US, UK or Schengen visa, a visa on arrival is also an option at the airport, as an alternative to applying online in advance.
| e-Visa | Validity | Processing | Government fee | All-in with Plusvisa* |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Tourist E-visa eVisa | 1 year Multiple entry | 3–5 business days | US$152 | US$189 |
* The government fee is the government's own charge, never refundable. All-in adds Plusvisa's service fee, per traveller; it is refunded if we cause a refusal.
The Saudi eVisa lets a Kyrgyz passport holder stay up to 90 days on each visit, with multiple entries allowed during the one year the visa is valid for. It does not mean 90 days every month, or a stay that can run past 90 days without leaving.
One visit, 90 days: Each entry allows a stay of up to 90 days. Leaving and re-entering starts a fresh 90-day count, within the one-year validity of the visa.
Not a residence permit: The eVisa and visa on arrival are for visits only. They do not allow work, study or settling in Saudi Arabia.
Extensions: The eVisa itself does not include an extension process online. Anyone needing to stay longer should check with Saudi immigration before the 90 days run out.
Overstaying: Staying beyond the permitted period is an immigration offence and can lead to fines or a future entry ban, decided by Saudi authorities at the border or on exit.

The official portal does not publish a fixed earliest or latest date to apply. Applying about a week before travel leaves room to fix a rejected photo or detail and resubmit.
Does your trip fit within a single visit of up to 90 days?
Is your passport valid for at least 6 months after the date you plan to enter Saudi Arabia?
Is the trip for tourism, visiting family, business visits or Umrah outside the Hajj season?
Are you 18 or older, or travelling with a guardian aged 18 or over?

Have an international card ready
The government fee is paid online in Saudi riyals. Confirm your card can be charged for an online purchase in a foreign currency before you start.
On the official portal

Create an account on the Saudi eVisa portal with your email address and verify it.
Enter your Kyrgyz passport details
Fill in your passport and personal details exactly as they appear on your passport, upload your photo, and answer the eligibility questions.

Yes. Kyrgyzstan is on Saudi Arabia's list of e-Visa eligible countries, so most travellers can apply online instead of visiting an embassy.
No, not if you are applying for the standard tourist eVisa. It is an online application on the official portal, with no embassy visit needed.
The portal charges the fee in Saudi riyals by card. Check with your bank that your card supports online payments in a foreign currency before you apply.
Renew it first. Saudi Arabia requires at least 6 months of passport validity from your date of entry, and an eVisa application with a soon-to-expire passport is refused.
Yes. The same tourist eVisa covers Umrah outside the Hajj season, as well as tourism and visiting family.
It is only an alternative if your Kyrgyz passport already holds a valid, used US, UK or Schengen visa. Otherwise, apply for the eVisa before you fly.
No. Applicants from e-Visa eligible countries, including Kyrgyzstan, do not need an invitation letter, accommodation proof or a return ticket to apply, unlike embassy-route applicants.

Type G
Saudi Arabia uses type G sockets and your plugs are type C and F. A C-to-G adapter works for the whole trip.
Voltage

Against 220 V · 50 Hz at home. Check the label on chargers and appliances: anything marked 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz works in both.
Pack: one type G adapter and a small power strip — hotel rooms rarely have more than two sockets.

Getting around
Riyadh has a metro and bus network; Jeddah and other cities rely on taxis and ride-hailing apps such as Uber and Careem. Car hire is easy and common for trips between cities and to sites like AlUla.
Heat and health
Summers are extremely hot, with daytime highs above 40C from May to September. Carry water, limit time outdoors at midday, and use sun protection, especially away from the coast.
Dress and etiquette
Modest dress is expected for everyone in public: shoulders and knees covered. Alcohol is illegal. Public life pauses briefly at prayer times, when some shops and restaurants close for a short while.
Saudi Arabia uses the Saudi Riyal (SAR).
Cards work almost everywhere
Bank cards and mobile payments are accepted in most shops, hotels and restaurants in cities, so carrying large amounts of cash is rarely necessary.
Keep small notes for cash tips
Riyal notes are still useful for tipping porters, valets and drivers, and for small vendors and traditional markets that prefer cash.
ATMs are widely available
Cash machines are common in airports, malls and city centres and accept most international bank cards, but can be scarcer in small towns and rural areas.
